Avoid using sharp objects to clean the cooler. It could be damaged.

Is the filter mat carefully removed from the retaining frame?

Are the oil and air coolers dry brushed and vacuum cleaned?

Is the filter mat carefully inserted in the retaining frame?

Precondition: The power supply disconnecting (isolating) device is switched off. The disconnect device is locked in the off position. A check has been made that no voltage is present. The machine has cooled down.

Precondition: The power supply isolating device is switched off. The device is locked off. The absence of any voltage has been verified. The machine has cooled down. WARNING: Touching the moving drive belt may result in severe bruising or even loss of limb or extremities.

Switch off and lock out the power supply isolating device and verify the absence of voltage.

Turn adjusting nut (1) to loosen the tension on the belt until it can be removed from the pulley.

Install the new belt and use the adjusting nut (1) to adjust tension until the marker pin reaches the lower end of the elongated hole.

Sign off on the belt replacement

Check the coolant oil level at standstill, is the oil indicator fully filled with oil?

Check the coolant oil level while the machine is running, is the oil level around the optimum mark?

Check the filter mats in the cooler, are they clogged?

Check the filter mats in the control cabinet, are they clogged?

If the filter mats are clogged, were they cleaned or replaced?

Sign off on the weekly compressor maintenance

Did the safety relief valve function correctly?

Check the function: Safety shut-down due to excessive airend discharge temperature

Did the machine shut down at the correct temperature?

Check the EMERGENCY STOP control device

Did the EMERGENCY STOP control device function correctly?

Checking the Belt Tension and Adjustment

Adjust the tension when the marker pin reaches the top end of the elongated hole

Use the adjusting nut (1) to adjust the spring tension until the marker pin reaches the lower end of the elongated hole

Turn the pulley by hand so that all of the belt can be inspected for damage

In case of damage: Replace the drive belt immediately
