1000 Hourly Machine Cleaning

Open the sound enclosure (Option H12)

Dismantle panels in order to clean the cooling air ducts of the drive motor

Dry brush the machine or blow off with compressed air

Vacuum off dirt

Close sound enclosure (Option H12)

Replace and lock panels

Sign off on the machine cleaning

10 Yearly / 60000 Hourly Compressor Maintenance

Warning: Only an authorized KAESER service representative should carry out service work.

Replace the motor bearings.

Replace sliding ring seal.

Service oil filler hoses.

Replace the vacuum pump.

Have service tasks carried out in a timely manner, taking the ambient and operating conditions into account.

1 Monthly / 500 Hourly Compressor Inspection

Control Cabinet: Visually checking the filter mat

Carefully remove the ventilation grille and take out the filter mat.

Check filter mat for clogging.

Change the filter mat if clogged or if the change interval has expired.

Insert the filter mat in the frame and latch in the ventilation grille.

Check the lubricating oil level

Check the lubricating oil level at the oil sight glass on the control and drive side.

Top off lubricating oil as soon as the lubricating oil level has dropped more than 0.08 inches below the middle of the oil sight glass.

Check the air filter.

1 Yearly / 3000 Hourly Motor Bearings Lubrication

Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!

Maintenance door in the sound enclosure opened

Grease fittings cleaned with a cloth

Both bearings re-greased using a grease gun

Maintenance door closed and locked

Change the FGB-680 lubricating oil

Oil chamber ventilation lubricating oil returned

Blower block lubricating oil changed

Draining the Lubricating Oil

1 Yearly Compressor Maintenance

Warning: Never operate the machine without a correctly functioning safety relief valve!

Check for free movement of the tension rod by pulling vertically by the opening lever. The valve opens as soon as maximum working pressure is exceeded.

Check the safety relief valve. Do not adjust the safety relief valve. Immediately replace a defective safety relief valve.

Press the EMERGENCY STOP push button. The drive motor should come to a standstill, the machine's internal pressure system is vented and the machine is secured against automatically restarting.

If the drive motor does not come to a standstill, the safety function of the EMERGENCY STOP push button can no longer be assured. Shut down the machine immediately and contact an authorized KAESER service representative.

Unlock the EMERGENCY STOP push button by turning in the direction of the arrow. Acknowledge the alarm message.

Option C58 with external EMERGENCY STOP command device must be checked in the same way.

Check that all electrical connections are secure and tighten if necessary.
