Filter Inspection and Maintenance

Inspect filters in system and replace or clean as required

Cooler Tube Examination and Cleaning

Examine cooler tubes for scale and clean if necessary

Wash out all chemicals thoroughly with clean water before returning the compressor to service

Examine the cooler for erosion or corrosion after cleaning

Internal Cooler Tube Cleaning Methods

Select the method used for cleaning internal cooler tubes

Check that all components are in place

Was the Food Grade Coolant analyzed?

Describe the results of the coolant analysis

Inspect coolant hoses for brittleness or damage

Drain coolant into a clean container

Cover the container to prevent contamination

Ensure compressor is electrically isolated for at least 15 minutes before commencing any maintenance work.

Unclip the front grill of the drive box filter.

Remove the filter pad from the housing.

Replace with a new filter pad from Ingersoll Rand.

Replace front grill to the drive box filter.

Rotate the blower motor several revolutions by hand in the direction of rotation

Pump grease into the bearing while rotating the motor

Is grease visible at the relief port?

Ongoing Maintenance During Storage

Rotate the motor every three months until the unit is placed in service

Long-term Storage Consideration

Is the storage time expected to exceed nine months?

Order the compressor for long-term storage if storage exceeds nine months
