Ensure the slicer is turned off and unplugged

Gather necessary inspection tools

Check that all gaskets and seals are in place

Inspect gaskets and seals for damage or wear

Is any gasket or seal damaged or missing?

Was the slicer removed from service for repair?

Lubrication - Carriage Slide Rod

Apply 4-5 drops of Lubriplate FMO200-AW oil on each side of the Carriage Slide Rod

Move the Carriage Tray back and forth to spread the oil

Lubrication - Meat Grip Slide Rod

Wipe the Meat Grip Slide Rod to ensure a clean, dry surface

Apply a small amount of Lubriplate oil on the Meat Grip Slide Rod

Slide the Meat Grip up and down to restore smooth operation

Turn the index knob fully clockwise to close the gauge plate

Remove and clean the following parts

Wipe out any residue inside the Sharpener housing

Wash, rinse, and sanitize the Sharpener

Wash, rinse, and sanitize the Meat Grip

Turn the index knob fully clockwise to close the gauge plate

Remove the Top Knife Cover by pulling on the Latch Knob

Remove the plastic Ring Guard Cover by lifting up

Clean and sanitize the slicer before sharpening the knife

Press and hold the KNIFE ON button for 15 seconds while pulling the Sharpener Lever fully forward
