Ingersoll Rand Compressor N110K Two Stage

Loosen filter element with the correct tool.

Remove the element from the housing.

Place the old element in a sealed bag and dispose of in a safe way.

Clean the mating face of the housing.

Remove the new Ingersoll Rand replacement element from its protective package.

Apply a small amount of coolant to the element seal.

Screw the new element down until the seal makes contact with the housing, then hand tighten a further half turn.

Preparation and Safety Measures

Ensure the compressor is isolated from the compressed air system and vented of all pressure.

Use certified lifting equipment and employ sound working principles.

Lock off and tag the main power disconnect switch.

Visually check if a complete cleaning of the cooler is required.

Identify the type of substances covering the cooler

Check and replace air filter if needed

Scavenge screen - Check / clean

Ensure compressor is electrically isolated for at least 15 minutes before commencing any maintenance work

Unclip the front grill of the drive box filter

Remove the filter pad from the housing

Replace with a new filter pad from Ingersoll Rand

Replace front grill to the drive box filter

Rotate the blower motor several revolutions by hand in the direction of rotation

Pump grease into the bearing while rotating the motor

Is grease visible at the relief port?

Ongoing Maintenance During Storage

Rotate the motor every three months until the unit is placed in service

Long-term Storage Consideration

Is the storage time expected to exceed nine months?

Order the compressor for long-term storage if storage exceeds nine months
