Depressurize the system before disassembling filters

Ensure all necessary tools are available

Loosen element using a 2" socket with an extension

Remove old element from filter housing

Install new element by carefully inserting element in top plate

Hand tighten element in place until element o-ring contacts top plate

Tighten element one half turn using a 2" socket with an extension

Are inlet parameters within specifications?

Check tower pressure gauge readings

Are tower pressure gauge readings within operating tolerance?

Is the dryer cycling properly according to tower pressure gauges?

Check if pre-filter elements need changing

Inspect pre-filter drains for proper drainage

Is there any condensed liquid in the sump of the filter housing?

Measure the pressure drop across the HB post-filters

Is the pressure drop at an undesirable level?

Inspect HB post-filters for desiccant dust particulate contamination

Desiccant Check and Replacement

Is desiccant replacement necessary?

Clean no-loss drain valves and check valves

NOTICE: System Overload and Malfunction

WARNING: Depressurize the System

Check conditions for filter element change

Depressurize the system before disassembling filters

Rotate filter bowl counter-clockwise to loosen bowl from filter head

Use spanner and/or strap wrench if necessary

Remove elements by grasping and pulling downward
