Depressurize dryer before performing any service.

Wear respiratory protection during the draining and filling process.

Refer to Section 10.7 for the proper way to shut down the Heat Reactivated Dryer.

Remove the caps on both fill and drain ports on each desiccant tower.

Insert a small rod into the drain port to assist desiccant flow if necessary.

Turn control power off per shutdown procedures described in Section 9.7.

Has the dryer been depressurized to avoid injury?

Replace the muffler once the dryer has been depressurized.

Follow normal start-up procedures as described in Section 9.

Enter the pre-filter differential pressure

Enter the post-filter differential pressure

Are the drains functioning properly?

Do the filter cartridges need replacement based on differential pressure indicator?

Check pre-filter elements for contamination

Change pre-filter elements if contamination is detected

Check pre-filter drains for condensed liquid

Drain condensed liquid from pre-filter sump if present

Measure pressure drop across HB post-filters

Is the pressure drop at an undesirable level?

Change HB post-filter elements if pressure drop is undesirable

Desiccant Inspection and Replacement

Is desiccant replacement necessary?

Clean no-loss drain valves and check valves

List any worn or damaged seats and parts replaced
