Hoist driven very slowly in the lifting direction?

Enter the number of turns made on the adjusting screw until the hoist stops or clearly slows down.

Adjusting screw backed-off by about one eighth of a turn?

NOTE: If the brake cannot be adjusted in accordance with these directions, the brake shoes and brake discs should be cleaned.

⚠️ CAUTION Metric/inch. YALE Series Hoists were designed to Metric specifications. Therefore, metric wrenches and tools should be used. Metric threaded fasteners are not interchangeable. DO NOT SUBSTITUTE one for the other.
