Verify all items are accounted for against the delivery receipt or packing list

Inspect each crate or carton for shipping damage

Alert the carrier of any detected damage

Make a notation of damage or shortage on the delivery receipt and bill of lading

Was the bill of lading countersigned by the delivering carrier?

Contact your sales representative if damage is detected

Fan Equipment Storage and Handling

Are fans protected and maintained until installation?

Disconnect the electrical supply

Remove any dirt accumulation on the wheel or in the housing

Inspect fan impeller and housing for fatigue, corrosion, or wear

Run each fan to operating temperature

Bump each fan if not run to operating temperature

Check fan RPM when adjusting operating frequency

Consult manufacturer if operating conditions are changed

Ensure the fan is turned off and locked out before starting lubrication.

Is the shaft rotating during lubrication?

Add lubricant until clean grease is seen purging from the bearing.

Is the bearing visible to observe purged grease?

Enter the number of grease shots used for lubrication.
