Locate the oil drain plug at the bottom of the Power Pack

Use a metric hex head bolt to remove the oil drain plug

Locate the fill plug at the rear of the Power Pack

Use a metric Allen wrench to remove the fill plug

Has there been a loss of power?

Use an air gun to blow particles and contaminants off the motor and chuck collar.

Clean the inner surfaces of the chuck.

Is there excessive buildup of contaminants?

Soak the entire chuck in cleaning solvent or WD-40 type penetrating oil.

Use an air gun to blow off remaining contaminants after soaking.

Slide the collar upward until it locks into the uppermost position.

Is the gearbox a 2 speed model?

Check the gearbox for any visible damage or wear.

Does the gearbox require greasing?

Use only Lithium type grease for greasing.

Ensure not to over grease the gearbox.

Verify that the gearbox is functioning correctly after maintenance.

Check the tightness of the following bolts

Apply Loctite 242 to the threads of any loose bolts

Verify that all bolts are secure after reassembly

Turn the handle until the adjuster reaches the bottom most position in the slot

Ensure all tension is removed from the cylinders

Change only one cylinder at a time

Loosen the cylinder bolts threaded into the rear arm

Remove both the rod end and the cylinder end at the same time
