3 Monthly Gearbox Maintenance
Gearbox Inspection
Is the gearbox a 2 speed model?
Check the gearbox for any visible damage or leaks.
Greasing the Gearbox
Does the gearbox require greasing?
Use only Lithium type grease for greasing.
Ensure not to over grease the gearbox.

1 Monthly Base Mount Lubrication
Preparation
Ensure the unit is powered off
Gather necessary tools and materials
Lubrication Process
Check if the unit needs to be removed from the base mount
Was the unit removed from the base mount?
Clean the lower bore of the angle mount if contaminated
Clean the shaft of the rear mount if contaminated
Apply a slight amount of grease to the shaft of the rear base mount
Front Replacement
FRONT REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Extend the front arm partially
Turn the handle until the adjuster reaches the bottom most position
Remove the top two bolts on the front plate
Caution: Front arm will spring to the most upright position when bolts are removed
Remove the two Allen head screws holding the rod end of the cylinder to the arm
Slide the cylinder pin out of the arm to release the cylinder
Remove the hex head bolt holding the cylinder end of the cylinder to the upper adjuster
Attach the new cylinder starting with the cylinder end first
Rear Replacement
REAR REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Preparation
Extend the FlexArm
Turn the handle until the adjuster reaches the bottom most position in the slot
Cylinder Replacement
Change only one cylinder at a time
Loosen the cylinder bolts threaded into the rear arm
Remove both the rod end and the cylinder end at the same time
Start both the rod end and the cylinder end of the NEW cylinder at the same time
Rear Pin Maintenance
Covering the Bores
Cover the openings (bores) when the FlexArm is removed from the angle mount
Protecting the Rear Pin
Wrap the rear pin if not immediately repositioned
Inspection and Cleaning
Inspect the surface of the rear pin shaft
Is cleaning required for the rear pin shaft?
Thoroughly clean the shaft of the rear pin if needed
