Locate the oil drain plug at the bottom of the Power Pack

Remove the oil drain plug using a metric hex head bolt wrench

Check mark

Drain the old oil completely

Check mark

Replace and secure the oil drain plug

Locate the fill plug at the rear of the Power Pack

Front Replacement

Front Replacement Instructions

Turn the handle until the adjuster reaches the bottom most position with the front arm partially extended

Check mark

Remove the top two bolts on the front plate that keep the front arm attached

Check mark

Caution: When the front arm bolts are removed, tension will still exist even though the adjuster has been taken to the lowest level. The front arm will naturally spring to the most upright position.

Remove the two Allen head screws holding the rod end of the cylinder to the arm

Check mark

Slide the cylinder pin out of the arm, releasing the cylinder

Check mark

Remove the hex head bolt holding the cylinder end of the cylinder to the upper adjuster

Check mark

Attach the new cylinder starting with the cylinder end first

Check mark

Apply Loctite 242 or 243 on the threads of the hex bolt

Cover the openings (bores) after removing the FlexArm from the angle mount

Wrap the rear pin if not immediately repositioned

Clean the shaft of the rear pin if necessary
