Monitor and Accessories Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the Monitor with a soft cloth dampened with mild detergent.

Inspect the Monitor and accessories for wear and damage.

Ensure the following before cleaning

Prepare enzymatic detergent and 10% bleach solution in separate spray bottles.

Spray detergent liberally on the cuff and allow to sit for 1 minute if material is dried on.

Wipe material off with a soft cloth or use a soft-bristled brush for persistent contamination.

Rinse with copious amounts of distilled water until no visible contamination remains.

Ensure the battery is fully charged before storage.

Connect the Monitor to an AC power source to charge the battery.

Is the Monitor switched off during charging?

Record the charging time if the Monitor is switched on.

Record the charging time if the Monitor is switched off.

Does the battery hold a charge?

Replace the battery if it no longer holds a charge.

Has the BP parameter calibration been checked this year?

Record any doubts about the validity of the BP readings

Has a leak test of the BP parameter been performed this year?

Record any doubts about the validity of the pressure readings

Refer calibration and leak testing to qualified service personnel
