Turn the handle until the adjuster reaches the bottom most position in the slot

Remove both the rod end and the cylinder end at the same time

Install the new cylinder, starting both the rod end and the cylinder end at the same time

Is the rod end of the cylinder towards the bottom of the unit?

Turn the handle until the adjuster reaches the bottom most position

Remove the top two bolts on the front plate

Ensure the front arm naturally springs to the most upright position after bolt removal

Remove the two Allen head screws holding the rod end of the cylinder to the arm

Cover the openings (bores) when the FlexArm is removed from the angle mount

Wrap the rear pin if not immediately repositioned

Inspect the surface of the rear pin shaft for foreign material

Is cleaning of the rear pin shaft necessary?

Thoroughly clean the shaft of the rear pin if needed

Is the gearbox a 2 speed model?

Inspect the gearbox for any visible damage or wear

Does the gearbox require greasing?

Use only Lithium type grease for greasing

Ensure not to over grease the gearbox

Check the tightness of all bolts

Apply Loctite 242 on the threads of the loose bolts

Ensure no further problems are present
