Blow or brush away loose dust and lint particles within the print mechanism

Use the cleaning wipes to wipe the print head

Check that the print head is free of dust and lint

Ensure the print head is dry before use

Dispose of used cleaning wipes properly

Raise the print head lifting handle

Turn the knobs to release the ribbon rolls

Check the position of components

Is the air pressure within the normal range?

Check vacuum filter in applicator module

Replace vacuum filter if necessary

Ensure the electrical power is off

Gently ease out the labels/ribbon sideways

Rub the cleaning wipes along the platen roller (f) and slowly turn the roller by hand until the roller is completely clean

Rub the cleaning wipes along the ribbon take-up roller (c) and slowly turn the roller by hand until the roller is completely clean

Confirm the rollers are completely clean

Prepare Printer for Label Roll Change

Raise the print head lifting handle and open the peel roller

Install a new label roll and thread according to the threading diagram

Pull the backing paper to the backing paper re-winder
