Lift up the partition plate and remove it.

Is there an additional sound blanket (inner top) to remove?

Carefully remove the sound blanket to avoid tearing piping ports.

Remove the electrical box cover.

Disconnect the connector [S70] and release the fan motor lead wire from the slit.

Remove the nut (M8 size) and then the outdoor fan.

Note alignment of the fan rotor mark with the D-cut section of the motor shaft when reassembling.

Remove the 2 screws and then the fan motor fixing frame.

Warning: Be sure to wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.

Remove the 6 screws, and then the top panel.

Remove the 3 screws of the terminal cover.

Unfasten the 2 hooks and remove the terminal cover.

Pull the partition plate (2) forward, then slide to the right to remove it.

Wait for 10 minutes after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.

Ensure no burns from heated pipes and parts.

Ventilate the room if refrigerant gas leaks.

Prepare wet cloth to extinguish fire if refrigerant oil catches fire.

Do not discharge refrigerant gas into the atmosphere.

Restore piping by non-oxidation brazing.

Wait for 10 minutes after turning off all power supplies before starting disassembly.

Ensure pipes and parts heated by the gas brazing machine are cool to avoid burns.

Ventilate the room if refrigerant gas leaks during work.

Collect all refrigerant gas to prevent atmospheric discharge.

Restore piping by non-oxidation brazing.

Wrap the four way valve with wet cloth and provide water to keep it below 120°C (248°F).
