Rotation Pulse Check
Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!
Voltage of 320 ± 30 V is applied
Set operation off and power off. Disconnect the connector S70.
Voltage between the pins 4 - 7
Control voltage between the pins 3 - 4
Rotation command voltage between the pins 2 - 4
Keep operation off and power off. Connect the connector S70.
2 pulses (0 ~ 15 VDC) at the pins 1 - 4 when the fan motor is rotated 1 turn by hand
Fuse is not melted
Inverter Checker Check
Warning: This procedure involves high voltage. Only trained personnel should perform it.
Power turned off
Install the inverter checker instead of a compressor
Voltage of the built-in smoothing electrolytic capacitor dropped to 10 VDC or below
Terminals removed from the compressor
Terminals connected to the terminals of the inverter checker
Warning: Do not touch the terminals (U,V,W) each other. High voltage is applied.
Power transistor test operation activated from the outdoor unit
Diagnose according to 6 LEDs lighting status
Thermistor Resistance Check
Warning: Disconnect the connectors of the thermistors from the PCB before proceeding
Thermistors disconnected from the PCB?
Measure the resistance of each thermistor
Select the model of the thermistor
For the models in which the thermistor is directly mounted on the PCB, disconnect the connector for the PCB and measure.
Connector for the PCB disconnected?
Measure the resistance of the thermistor
Sign off on the thermistor resistance check
Fan Motor Connector Output Check
Check the connection of connector
Check the motor power supply voltage output (pins 4 - 7)
Check the motor control voltage (pins 4 - 3)
Check the rotation command voltage (pins 4 - 2)
Check the rotation pulse (pins 4 - 1)
Sign off on the fan motor connector output check
Capacitor Voltage Check
Warning: Check the main circuit for short circuit before proceeding
Main circuit checked for short circuit?
Warning: Be careful never to touch any live parts.
