Cascade Clamps 70D

Drill out the rivets using .187 in. (4.8 mm) drill bit from the front side of the arm.

Align the new contact surface to the arm and drill through using .187 in. (4.8 mm) drill bit.

Rivet the contact surface to the arm.

Align the new contact surface to the arm.

Drill the holes along the front edge of the arm, through the contact pad with a No. 7 tap drill.

Drill the rest of the contact pad with a .25 in. (6 mm) drill bit.

Cylinder Anchor Joint Inspection and Lubrication

Inspect the cylinder anchor joint for lubrication and correct hold

Lubricate the cylinder anchor joint with wheel bearing grease

Is a light application of chassis grease permitted by your application?

Apply a light application of chassis grease to the arm bearing if permitted

Arm Capscrews Torque Adjustment

Select the model of the lift truck

Enter the torque value applied to the arm capscrews (ft.-lbs.)

WARNING: Relieve pressure in the hydraulic system

Remove the restrictor cartridge from the cylinder port

Tighten the restrictor cartridge for reassembly

Ensure the attachment is mounted on the truck

Verify if the contact pads need replacement or swapping

Contact Pad Removal and Installation

Remove the capscrews and nuts fastening the contact pad to the stabilizer

Choose the action for the contact pads

Ensure the contact pads are securely fastened

Lower Mounting Hook Engagement Clearance Check

Check the lower mounting hook engagement clearance with the truck carriage bar

Enter the torque for Class II/III Mounting

Enter the torque for Class IV Mounting

Upper Hook Capscrews Tightening

Enter the torque for 70D, 80D, 100D Clamps
