Disconnect the chamber from the power supply

Thoroughly remove any residues of the charging material

Wipe surfaces with a moistened towel

Use appropriate cleaning agents for surfaces

Do NOT use acidic or chlorine cleaning detergents

Do NOT use a neutral cleaning agent on zinc coated surfaces

Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., DGUV guidelines 213-850 for Germany).

Identify the chamber type and corresponding safety controller class

Safety Controller Function Check

Is the safety controller set-point approximately 2 °C to 5 °C above the desired temperature set-point?

Perform a functionality check of the safety controller.

Was an alarm message visually reported during the check?

Describe any issues encountered during the check.

Disconnect the chamber from the power supply by pulling the power plug.

Ensure that decontamination agents do not react with device components or charging material.

Select the decontamination procedure based on contamination type and charging material.

Use adequate personal safety controls during decontamination.

Wear sealed protective goggles to protect eyes from chemical burns.

Disconnect the power plug before starting maintenance work.

Ensure the chamber is not wet during operation or maintenance work.

Verify that the rear panel of the chamber is not removed.

Is the maintenance work being conducted by licensed electricians or experts authorized by BINDER?

Are the legal requirements met regarding the qualifications of service personnel, scope of testing, and documentation?
