Preliminary and Seasonal Checks

Inspect electrical wiring for loose connections and tighten as required.

Check voltage at disconnect switch.

Is the voltage within the range listed on the nameplate?

Inspect condition of condensate traps and drain assembly.

Disassemble and clean condensate traps and drain assembly seasonally.

Ensure main shut-off valve is labeled and accessible

Ensure main power to unit is labeled and accessible

Disconnect and isolate the gas valve

Ensure gas valve is not subjected to more than 0.5 psig (14" W.C.)

Check piping connections for gas leaks using preferred means

Ensure no kitchen detergents are used for leak detection

Proper Ground and Voltage Inspection

Ensure black iron pipe is installed at the gas valve and extends outside the furnace cabinet if a flexible gas connector is required or allowed.

Measure the AC voltage between Line Neutral (spade terminals) and 'C' terminal (low voltage terminal block) on the integrated control.

Is the voltage between Line Neutral and 'C' within the acceptable range as per Table 21?

Measure the AC voltage from Line Hot to Line Neutral (spade terminals) on the integrated control.

Is the voltage from Line Hot to Line Neutral within the range of 97 to 132 VAC?

Ensure only copper wire is used with this product

Verify wiring and circuit breaker are properly sized according to Product Specifications and unit rating plate

Check all wiring for loose connections

Enter the voltage at the furnace (furnace operating)

Is the voltage within the correct range?

Remove hoses from cold end header box

Twist and pull screens to remove

Rinse screens with tap water if needed
