Is the auxiliary alarm output connected to a separate alarm system?

Disconnect auxiliary alarm output if connected to a separate alarm system.

Remove any lint from the lint compartment.

Ensure temperature sensors are free of lint.

Place a load of dry towels in the tumble dryer.

Ensure cylinder baffles are to the left and right of the spray manifold.

Unlock the fire suppression system control box.

Disconnect electric power to the tumble dryer

Close gas shut-off valve to gas tumble dryer

Close steam valve to steam tumble dryer

Ensure all guards/panels are in place before starting the tumble dryer

Reconnect any removed ground wires

Measure the pull force required to open the door (in pounds)

Is the pull force within the acceptable range?

Use a vacuum to clean air vents on drive motors.

Use a vacuum to clean lint from rear limit thermostat cover.

Check and clean steam coils, if applicable.

Check flow of combustion and ventilation air.

Check belt tension and condition. Replace worn or cracked belts.

Clean the machine's top panel with mild detergent.

Check for error indicators on the display

Cycle the tumble dryer to check if the buzzer activates

Check drum rotation (if applicable)

Hold the START button to display the drum RPM’s and record the RPMs

Check for visible signs of deterioration on all hoses

Are there any hoses showing signs of deterioration?

Replacement of Deteriorated Hoses

Replace all hoses showing signs of deterioration

Replace all hoses that are five years old or older

Verify that all replaced hoses are properly installed

Is the fire suppression system operational after hose replacement?
