Disconnect power to wheel drive motor

Remove belt from pulley and position temporarily around wheel rim

Loosen set screw in wheel drive pulley using a hex head wrench and remove pulley from motor drive shaft

While supporting weight of drive motor in one hand, loosen and remove (4) mounting bolts

Install replacement motor with hardware kit supplied

Install pulley to dimension as shown and secure set screw to drive shaft

Stretch belt over pulley and engage in groove

Verify that the motor is securely mounted

Ensure a trained, qualified service technician checks the unit.

Clean condenser coil at least once a year.

Is there debris or dirt/grease build-up requiring more frequent cleaning?

Follow proper cleaning procedure to avoid coil damage.

Document routine cleaning of microchannel coils with factory provided e-coating.

Aluminum Wheel Air Seals Inspection

Check condition and tightness of non-contact and brush seals.

Inspection of Fans, Evaporator Coils, and Filters

Inspect the following components

Is the unit located in a coastal or industrial environment?

Perform a clean water rinse on the coils

Describe any issues encountered during coil cleaning

Shut off all electrical power to the unit to avoid shock hazard or injury from rotating parts

Inspect all air filters for condition and cleanliness

Inspect the Air Seals and Wheel Drive Components

Select the ASHRAE Class of Air for the environment

Clean the energy transfer media to maintain optimal performance

Verify the cleanliness of the Energy Recovery Wheel

Is the Energy Recovery Wheel operating at optimal performance?

Aluminum Wheel Drive Components Inspection

Inspect the drive belt for the following conditions

Does the belt show any signs of mechanical damage?

Is the belt passing freely without encountering obstacles inside the housing?

Unclip the belt using pliers and remove the necessary segments to increase tension.

Connect the shortened belt ends by inserting the protruding tongue through the hole of the other half of the belt.

Use pliers to drag the segment tongue through the second hole and twist it back to the starting position.
