Obtain access to the pulley side bearing access plate if bearing access plates are provided.

Check mark

Remove two bearing access plate retaining screws and the access plate.

Check mark

Bearing Collar Removal

Check mark

Using hexagonal wrench, loosen set screw in bearing locking collar.

Check mark

Using light hammer and drift, tap collar in the direction of wheel rotation to unlock collar.

Check mark

Remove collar.

Check mark

Bearing Housing Removal

Check mark

Using socket wrench with extension, remove two nuts which secure bearing housing to the bearing support beam.

Polymer Wheel Drive Motor and Pulley Replacement

Disconnect power to wheel drive motor

Check mark

Remove belt from pulley and position temporarily around wheel rim

Check mark

Loosen set screw in wheel drive pulley using a hex head wrench and remove pulley from motor drive shaft

Check mark

While supporting weight of drive motor in one hand, loosen and remove (4) mounting bolts

Check mark

Install replacement motor with hardware kit supplied

Check mark

Install pulley to dimension as shown and secure set screw to drive shaft

Check mark

Stretch belt over pulley and engage in groove

Check mark

Follow start-up procedure

Check mark

Check that all tools are accounted for
