Close both shut-off valves to isolate the suction filter.

Reclaim the refrigerant from the suction filter section.

Remove the bolts from the suction filter end plate.

Remove the pleated filter assembly.

Replace the suction filter end plate and bolts.

Evacuate the suction filter assembly to 300 microns.

Remove two bearing access plate retaining screws and the access plate.

Bearing Collar Removal

Using hexagonal wrench, loosen set screw in bearing locking collar.

Using light hammer and drift, tap collar in the direction of wheel rotation to unlock collar.

Remove collar.

Bearing Housing Removal

Using socket wrench with extension, remove two nuts which secure bearing housing to the bearing support beam.
