Was all electrical power to the unit disconnected?

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

Select the tool used for microbial growth removal

Was microbial growth mechanically removed without damaging the surface?

Disconnect all electrical power to the unit

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Use a soft brush to remove loose debris from both sides of the coil

Install a block-off to prevent spray from going through the coil

Mix a high-quality coil cleaning detergent with water

Does the detergent have a pH of 8.5 or higher after mixing?

Disconnect all electrical power to the unit
