Warning: This maintenance check requires trained personnel with PPE!

Filters in the Dust Collector are semi-permanent and efficient

After each day’s operation, filters are shaken to remove the clinging material

If the collected material sticks to the filters, they are hand brushed or vacuum cleaned

Care is taken to prevent the tearing or puncturing of the filter cloth

If the filters become saturated with oil, they are dry cleaned

For maximum efficiency, filters are replaced every two years under normal operating conditions

Filters are not removed except for replacement

Model and serial number of your Dust Collector for Torit Replacement Filters

Remove filters by loosening Set Screws “D” and removing front and back hold down bars “C”

Place as many Filter Envelopes, “A” in Dust Collector Filter Frame “B” as can be done without using any mechanical aid or leverage

Place rear Hold Down Bar “C” in position and finger tighten Set Screws “D”

Select the proper location for Filter Inserts “E” from Table No. 1 above

Locate the Filter Inserters as shown in Figure No. 1, with the legs of the Angle Plate “F” inside the appropriate collars

Rotate the handle of the rear Filter Inserter to the right, and at the same time push toward the rear of the cabinet, until the Angle Plates are parallel

Rotate the handle of the front Filter Inserter to the left, and at the same time pull forward the front of the cabinet, until the Angle Plates are parallel

Place one of the remaining filters in the space created
