Filter Maintenance
Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!
Remove filters by loosening Set Screws “D” and removing front and back hold down bars “C”
Place as many Filter Envelopes, “A” in Dust Collector Filter Frame “B” without using any mechanical aid or leverage
Ensure spacers at both left and right side of filter frame are in place
Place rear Hold Down Bar “C” in position and finger tighten Set Screws “D”
Select the proper location for Filter Inserts “E” from Table No. 1
Locate the Filter Inserters as shown in Figure No. 1, with the legs of the Angle Plate “F” inside the appropriate collars
Rotate the handle of the rear Filter Inserter to the right, and at the same time push toward the rear of the cabinet, until the Angle Plates are parallel
Rotate the handle of the front Filter Inserter to the left, and at the same time pull forward the front of the cabinet, until the Angle Plates are parallel
2 Yearly Cloth Filters Maintenance
Warning: This maintenance check requires trained personnel with PPE!
Filters in the Dust Collector are semi-permanent
Routine maintenance performed
Filters shaken to remove clinging material
Filters hand brushed or vacuum cleaned if necessary
Filters dry cleaned if saturated with oil
Filters replaced every two years under normal operating conditions
Model and serial number of your Dust Collector
