Enter the temperature of the motor bearings

Is the temperature of the motor bearings within the normal range?

Enter the suction gauge reading

Is the suction gauge reading normal?

Enter the discharge gauge reading

Is the discharge gauge reading normal?

If gauge readings are abnormal, describe the issue

Ensure all parts to be replaced are free from burrs and damage

Insert stationary element of seal into seal cover

Ensure the seal cover O-ring is properly seated in groove of the seal cover

Install retaining ring in seal cover to retain stationary seal

Seal Cover and Shaft Preparation

Place the seal cover back onto the pump cover and bolt in place

Lubricate the pump shaft end with silicone lubricant

Ensure all tools and materials are ready

Loosen all radial set screws on the seal rotating element

Remove the seal rotating element

Apply silicone grease on the OD of the shaft

Stationary Seal Element Removal

Assemble impeller key and impeller on shaft

Select bolt size for tightening

Does the impeller rotate freely by hand?

Apply gasket adhesive to gasket surface or cover

Place a new casing gasket against gasket surface and press against adhesive

Assemble cover, impeller shaft and impeller assembly into pump casing as one assembly

Is the gasket seated correctly?

Install motor adapter and motor as one assembly onto cover/casing assembly

Close suction and discharge valves

Drain liquid from casing by removing drain plug

Remove coupler guard from both sides

Remove seal flush line, seal and coupling

Remove bolts holding cover/motor adapter to casing

Remove motor adapter and motor as one assembly from cover/casing
