Ensure all parts are free from burrs and damage

Insert stationary element of seal into seal cover

Avoid touching seal surfaces to prevent leakage

Ensure seal faces are not contaminated with fingerprints

Lubricate pump shaft end with silicone grease

Avoid using petroleum oil or grease for lubrication

Place spring retainer and spring against retaining ring

Enter the temperature of the motor bearings

Is the temperature of the motor bearings within the normal range?

Enter the suction gauge reading

Is the suction gauge reading normal?

Enter the discharge gauge reading

Is the discharge gauge reading normal?

If gauge readings are abnormal, describe the issue

Assemble impeller key and impeller on shaft

Select bolt size for tightening

Does the impeller rotate freely by hand?

Apply gasket adhesive to gasket surface or cover

Place a new casing gasket against gasket surface and press against adhesive

Assemble cover, impeller shaft and impeller assembly into pump casing

Is the gasket seated correctly?

Install motor adapter and motor as one assembly onto cover/casing assembly

Loosen all radial set screws on the seal rotating element

Remove the seal rotating element

Apply silicone grease on the OD of the shaft

Remove the seal through the opening between the pump shaft and the motor shaft

Stationary Seal Element Removal

Remove the snap ring from the top of the cover/adapter

Ensure the pump is turned off and isolated from the power supply

Gather necessary tools and materials, including silicone grease

Seal Cover and Shaft Coupling Removal

Apply silicone grease on the OD of the shaft in the area between the seal and the end of the shaft

Draw off the seal rotating element from the shaft
