Check conditions for filter replacement

Fluid Filter Element Replacement

Remove the filter canister using a wrench

Remove and dispose of filter element

Observe all laws and regulations for filter disposal

Apply a light film of fluid to the element seal

Install the element into the filter canister

Screw the canister to the filter head and tighten to 10 to 12 ft•lb (13.5 to 16.0 N·m)

Clean exterior of air filter housing

Rotate end cover counterclockwise and remove

Remove air filter element by pulling it out of the housing

Clean interior of housing using a damp cloth

Reassemble in the reverse order of the disassembly

Is the maintenance gauge showing green with the compressor running full load?

Check the fluid level in the receiver tank

Ensure the compressor is stopped and all internal pressure is relieved

Observe the controller display for correct readings

Is the compressor running properly after warm-up?

Ensure the compressor unit is powered off and isolated from the power source.

Gather necessary tools and replacement element no. 02250152-670.

Remove the protective grill from the adapter housing.

Loosen the retaining screw located on the outer sleeve.

Slide the sleeve to one side, exposing the coupling element.

Unwrap the coupling element from the coupling jaws.

Relieve all pressure from the receiver tank and all compressor lines

Loosen and remove the eight (8) hex head capscrews (M12 x 40mm) from the cover plate

Lift the cover plate from the receiver tank

Inspect the receiver tank for rust, dirt, etc.

Reinsert the separator element into the receiver tank taking care not to dent the element against the tank opening

Install a new lubricated O-ring in the O-ring groove on the underside of the receiver tank cover

Replace the cover plate, washers and capscrews. Torque to 89 ft·lbs. (121 N·m)
