Extension Cylinder and Cable Assembly Removal

Place the boom in a horizontal (0°) position

Extend/retract the boom to align the flange pins with the holes in the side of the main boom

Place the machine in the proper shut down position, parked on level ground

Loosen the wire ropes on the platform end of the machine first

Loosen the wire ropes on the counterweight end of the machine

When all wire ropes are slackened, the disc springs (washers) and spacers can be removed from each wire rope anchor

Grease the machine at normal work

Grease the machine at awkward work every 1 Week

Place a suitable container under the hydraulic tank filter

Remove the oil filter and catch any escaping oil

WARNING! Dispose of hydraulic oil in accordance with local and federal regulations

Apply a thin layer of clean hydraulic oil to the new oil filter gasket

Install the filter and tighten it firmly

Clean up any oil that may have spilled during this procedure

Start the engine from the base control console

Warning: Only trained personnel should perform this procedure

Oil sample drawn from the reservoir?

Enter the temperature of the oil sample

Upload a photo of the oil sample

Enter the name of the lubrication specialist

Is the oil sample suitable for continued use?

Sign off on the oil sample testing

Does the wire rope need replacement?

If a wire rope needs replacement, the entire wire rope assembly must be replaced immediately

Check wire ropes for wear or damage

Check sheaves (pulleys) for wear or damage

Are there any loose or missing sheave (pulley) pins?

Wire Rope must be inspected every 2 years if not replaced at that time

Sign off on the wire rope visual inspection
