Remove drain plug and drain all oil into a suitable container
Replace drain plug

Ensure hot oil and reducers are handled with care to prevent burns
Seal Replacement Procedure
Remove the worn seal without damaging the shaft surface or the seal bore
Drill a 0.062" diameter hole in the seal casing
Screw a #10 sheet metal screw into the hole and pry out the seal
Clean the seal bore of sealant
Oil Level Check
Safety Precautions
Ensure the power supply is disconnected and locked out
Verify that lubrication plugs and vents are cool to touch

Check the oil level of the reducer frequently
Is the oil level low?
Refer to the reducer vent and level position chart if oil level is low
Add proper lubrication through the filler plug until it comes out the oil level plug
Ensure oil rises to the bottom edge of the level hole
