Battery connectors and leads are undamaged

Battery gates are in position and not damaged

Battery free play in any direction

Pallet truck stops within approximately one and one-half truck lengths during normal operation

Brake gap is within acceptable limits

Caster wheels are undamaged and properly adjusted

If truck is not operational, report the issues to the maintenance team and stop the procedure

Enter the amount of gear oil in the drive housing

Change hydraulic fluid in the hydraulic reservoir

Push the spring clip toward the pump housing

Commutator has surface condition and high mica

If the armature on your motor does not have mica undercut, do not attempt to cut it.

If commutators are not correctly maintained, carbon dust can collect in the grooves between the segments. This can lead to a short circuit in the armature.

Good commutation is indicated by a dark brown polished commutator and an evenly polished brush wearing surface.

If the commutator appears rough, pitted, or has signs of burning or heavy arcing between the commutator bars, remove the motor for service.
