Open the manual vent valve to allow the compressor to exhaust air to the outside.

Monitor the air pressure as the valve is slowly closed.

Enter the desired modulation point pressure (PSIG).

Is the air pressure at the desired modulation point (38 PSIG standard)?

Differential Pilot Valve Adjustment

Adjust the screw on the bottom of the differential pilot valve.

Ensure the equipment is turned off and cooled down

Gather necessary tools and replacement filter

Install the new genuine Quincy replacement filter

Check for any leaks after replacement

Ensure all tools are removed from the work area

Is the air filter element due for servicing based on ambient conditions?

Element Removal and Replacement

Unscrew the wing nut to remove the air filter element

Exchange the air filter element with a new one

Ensure the new element is seated correctly on its mounting base

Inspect the filtered air side of the air cleaner canister for dirt

Inspect cooling water supply for impurities

Is there evidence of scale formation or corrosion?

Engage a local water treatment expert to assess water quality

Identify necessary water treatment methods

Clean the tube side of the heat exchanger to remove deposits

Inspect for overheating or fluid leakage to the water side

Check that the scavenge line fitting at the bottom of the scavenge line cavity is open and clear

Ensure the scavenge line is not plugged

Check Valve Performance Inspection

Inspect the scavenge line check valve for sticking

Is the check valve stuck in the open position?

Is the check valve stuck in the closed position?

Describe any issues found during inspection
