Ensure the machine is powered off and locked out

Gather necessary tools and materials

Verify availability of required materials

Remove the old radial shaft seal

Inspect the shaft for wear or damage

Clean the shaft and surrounding area thoroughly

Vent Screw Cleaning and Inspection

Clean the vent screw thoroughly, e.g. with compressed air

Use a new vent screw if the sealing ring is damaged

Ensure the gear unit is stopped and secured against accidental start-up.

Verify that the recommended grease, Petamo GHY 133N - Klüber Lubrication, is available.

Check for any signs of old grease contamination or washing out.

Clean the lubrication points to avoid contamination.

Apply the recommended grease to the bearings.

Was the lubrication process completed without mixing different greases?

Perform visual inspection of the gear unit

Inspect rubber buffers for damage

Inspect hoses for leaks, cuts, tears, porous areas, and chafing

Check for unusual running noises

Re-grease/remove excess grease for applicable options (W, VL2, VL3, AI, AN)

Identify the correct lubricant sensor part number

Screw in the new lubricant sensor

Remove excess grease from the adapter

Activate the full lubricant sensor (see chapter 4.3 'Activating the automatic lubricant dispenser')
