Disconnect Electrical Power to Oven(s) Before Servicing

Remove oven racks and rack guides

Reinstall motor and check alignment

Place a thermometer thermocouple or a reliable mercury oven type thermometer at the center of the middle rack.

Turn the dial of the cook thermostat to a temperature setting of 350°F.

Wait for the red heat indicator light to switch off when the thermostat turns off the burner.

Allow three (3) burner on/off cycles for the temperature to stabilize.

Read the pyrometer or thermometer immediately after the “HEAT” light goes off for the third time and again immediately after the “HEAT” light comes on the next time.

Is the average reading and the dial setting within 15°F?

Recalibration—Vectaire HX w/ suffix “A”

Contact a local service company, dealer, or factory to perform mechanical maintenance and repairs if recalibration is needed.

Note any additional adjustments made

Ensure both turnbuckles are left flat to clear front fire box panel

Check for any visible damage to the motor casing

Ensure ventilation openings are clear of obstructions

Is the motor operating without unusual noise or vibration?

Is the thermal overload protector functioning correctly?

Are the bearings operating smoothly without noise?

Inspect for any signs of grease leakage

Disconnect electrical power to oven before servicing

Remove oven racks and rack guides

Unscrew the light cover from the socket

Check that all components are securely reassembled
