Control Board Replacement
Turn the power off to the unit
Take a picture of the control board and connectors for reference
Remove all green terminal strips from the control board
Remove the red six pin display board connector from the left side of the control board
Remove all connectors from the top of the control board
Remove the control board from its standoffs
Remove any remaining standoffs from the old control board
Remove the new control board from the static bag
Place cut off standoffs from the old board into the new board
LCD Interface (Display) Board Replacement
Power Off
Remove the display board cable connector from the control board
Slice off display board standoff heads
Pull the display board from the unit
Remove the display board cable connector from the back of the display board
Place new display board standoffs into cabinet holes
Remove the new display board from the static bag
Connect display board cable to the back of the display board
Place and align the display board with standoffs
Compressor Replacement
Pump down the unit as per the Pumpdown Procedure
Was there a compressor burn out?
Dispose of refrigerant according to local codes if there was a compressor burn out
Disconnect piping and remove crankcase heater, leaving it electrically connected
Replace the compressor and the liquid line filter-dryer
Ensure nitrogen is flowing through the system at the lowest flow rate during brazing procedures
Vacuum the unit as per the procedure
If there was a compressor burnout, charge the unit with new refrigerant and operate for 2 hours
Pump down the unit and replace the filter-dryer after 2 hours of operation
Compressor Maintenance
Pumpdown Procedure
Place the unit in SERVICE mode via the PC App or LCD interface
Ensure electrical power is not turned off at the breaker panel
Connect the refrigerant recovery unit to the heat pump’s internal service ports via a refrigeration charging manifold and to a recovery tank
Plan to dispose of refrigerant if there was a compressor burnout
Ensure refrigerant to water heat exchangers have full flow or are completely drained
Start circulation pumps via building control system if necessary
Ensure all hose connections are properly purged of air
Start the refrigerant recovery as per the instructions in the recovery unit manual
