Examine the piping system for leaks

Retighten all bolts and nuts in the piping system

Move all valves and cocks in the piping system and lubricate valve spindles with graphite or similar

Check flexible connections for leaks and damages

Check manometers and thermometers for possible damages

Define a cleaning interval for centrifugal by-pass filter

Check the sludge weight in the centrifugal by-pass filter

Is the sludge weight increasing?

Enter the pH value of the feed water

Enter the conductivity of the feed water

Enter the hardness of the feed water

Enter the oxygen content or surplus at oxygen binder of the feed water

Check for indications of oil content in water

Measure the concentration of chemical additives

Is the concentration of chemical additives within the recommended range?

Document the results of the additive concentration test

Send a coolant sample to an independent laboratory or engine manufacturer for analysis

Coolant Replacement and Cleaning

Has the coolant been in use for more than 3 years?

Ensure the following conditions are met before starting

Install the correct orifice for the actual engine size

Check the water flow rate in a bucket

Carry out sequential washing until exhaust gas temperature after turbine drops below 100°C

Ensure during drying period exhaust gas temperature increases to more than 100°C

Is the water flow rate in accordance with the table by adjusting the water pressure?

Enter the copper content in the feed water

Enter the silicic acid level in the feed water
