Lift the top bezel and inspect the interior of the boiler

Vacuum any sediment from inside the boiler and components

Does the test indicate the need for system water cleaning?

Enter the current water meter reading

If the amount exceeds 5% of your system volume, you could have a leak

Does the amount exceed 5% of the system volume?

If yes, have the system checked for leaks and fixed by a qualified service technician

Sign off on the water meter check

Set the SMART SYSTEM control module display to Parameter Mode

Check settings of external limit controls (if any)

Adjust external limit controls if necessary

Boiler area is free of any combustible materials, gasoline and other flammable vapors and liquids

Air intake area is free of any of the contaminants listed in Section 1 of this manual

If any contaminants are present in the boiler intake air vicinity, they must be removed. If they cannot be removed, reinstall the air and vent lines

Pressure/temperature gauge reading

Sign off on the daily boiler check

Warning! Failure to inspect for the above conditions and have them repaired can result in severe personal injury or death

Visually inspect the entire flue gas venting system for blockage, deterioration or leakage

Repair any joints that show signs of leakage

Verify that air inlet pipe is connected and properly sealed

Verify that boiler vent discharge and air intake are clean and free of obstructions

Sign off on the vent and fuel piping inspection
