Main Filter Stage Maintenance

CAUTION: Personal safety. Do not remove the main filter for any reason while the unit is on. Removing the main filter while the unit is on will expose you to hazards of a mechanical nature (dragging, cutting, shearing etc.) due to rotation of the impeller.

To prevent the filter from being removed manually by unauthorised personnel, tighten the nut on the main filter with a tool.

Pressure level given by the pressure gauge located beside the control panel.

Note: The initial pressure values (with clean filters) are indicative and may vary due to extraction system features. (tube diameter and length, curves, valves, etc.)

Check if the main filter is clogged

Centrifugal Stage Maintenance

Release the latches and lift the movable part

Unscrew the knob and remove the knob

Check mark

Unscrew the nuts on the impeller case

Check mark

Remove the impeller for cleaning only if necessary

Check mark

Clean and remove any deposits from inside the impeller case and the drainage ring

Check mark

Carefully clean the stop flange of the impeller case on the drainage ring

Check mark

Reassemble the impeller case and drainage ring and tighten its nuts

Check mark

Sign off on the centrifugal stage maintenance

Remove the worn or broken seal

Remove any sealant residue using a sharp blade

Degrease the contact surfaces on the fixed casing with alcohol or other degreasing product

Dry the contact surfaces completely

Prepare the seal and check that it is the proper length

Check mark

Apply a light layer of cyanocrylate (Loctite or similar product) to the contact surface and make the seal adhere, ensuring it is positioned perfectly along the perimeter
