Main Filter Stage Maintenance
CAUTION: Personal safety. Do not remove the main filter for any reason while the unit is on. Removing the main filter while the unit is on will expose you to hazards of a mechanical nature (dragging, cutting, shearing etc.) due to rotation of the impeller.
To prevent the filter from being removed manually by unauthorised personnel, tighten the nut on the main filter with a tool.
Pressure level given by the pressure gauge located beside the control panel.
Note: The initial pressure values (with clean filters) are indicative and may vary due to extraction system features. (tube diameter and length, curves, valves, etc.)
Check if the main filter stage is clogged

Centrifugal Stage Maintenance
Normally the centrifugal stage does not require maintenance, as the design of the impeller makes that stage self-cleaning with continuous extraction of re-condensed liquids. For some particular applications, it may be necessary to periodically clean the drainage ring and relative discharge slots following this procedure:
Release the latches and lift the movable part
unscrew the knob and remove the knob
unscrew the nuts on the impeller case
remove the impeller for cleaning (see Impeller cleaning) only if necessary
clean and remove any deposits from inside the impeller case and the drainage ring
carefully clean the stop flange of the impeller case on the drainage ring
reassemble the impeller case and drainage ring and tighten its nuts

Impeller Cleaning
CAUTION: Personal safety– unit integrity. It is advisable to replace screws and washers with new components that are identical to the originals. Original nuts and bolts can only be reused if they are in perfect condition. Comply with the torque specifications and apply the threadlocker as indicated.
Follow the below procedure for cleaning the impeller only if effectively necessary:
Remove the impeller case
loosen the middle screw and remove the impeller with the provided extractor using the slot made on the hub.
during disassembly, do not use the bottom or other parts of the impeller for leverage
to prevent unbalancing of the impeller, deposits must be completely removed using a brush that has been soaked in petroleum or other degreasing cleanser
do not use acid and alkaline liquids or harsh solvents for cleaning
when cleaning has been finished, refit the impeller on the motor shaft
apply medium type LOCTITE or similar product to the screw thread and tighten the screw with the torque setting found on the torque chart
