Cleaning the TC Handle and Battery

Prepare cleaning solution on a damp cloth

Wipe all surfaces of the TC handle and battery thoroughly

Ensure no fluids enter the device

Confirm no sterilization of the TC handle or battery

Ensure no parts are missing or loose

Check that all connecting elements between instruments function properly

Insert a charged battery into the handle of the device

Did the battery lock into place with a snap?

Verify that the TC and accessories are in good working order by following the 'Using the Device' steps

Ensure all equipment is available

Place silicone cap on probe connector

Rinse probe shaft using cool running water

Use tools to aid in soil removal

Is water running clear from the shaft?

Detergent Preparation and Soaking

Prepare enzymatic detergent as per manufacturer’s recommendations

Allow the probe tip to cool to room temperature before cleaning.

Clean instrument within 30 minutes of completing a treatment.

Place silicone cap on probe connector to prevent liquid ingress to the connector.

Ensure no abrasive materials are used during cleaning.
