Preparation
Is the multi-channel lower part separated from the upper part?
Channel Removal Steps
Position a pipette tip under the piston and carefully take the piston off the upper rail
Carefully pull the piston out in an upward direction without bending it
Take the tip cone at the lower end and push it slightly upwards to compress the spring
Lift the tip cone slightly and release it from the lower rail
Relax the spring by letting the tip cone slide back again above the lower rail
Take the tip cone with the cylinder and the spring out of the upper rail

Fit the cover plate with integrated ejector
Push the latches upwards
Mount the lower part into the upper part until it engages audibly
Testing and Verification
Carry out a gravimetric test of the systematic and random error
Record any issues found during the gravimetric test

Keep the ejector pressed
Pull off the ejector sleeve
Lower Part Detachment
Slide the ring marked 'PUSH UP TO RELEASE' up by about 5 mm
Ensure the lower part comes off
Take the lower part out of the upper part
