100 Hourly Air Cleaner Primary Element Cleaning

Remove the air cleaner cover and primary element.

Is the primary element removed?

Clean the primary element:

Is dry dust adhering to the element?

Enter the pressure of compressed air used for cleaning

Is carbon or oil adhering to the element?

Soak the element in detergent for 15 minutes then wash it several times in water, rinse with clean water and dry it naturally.

Is the element fully dried?

Inspect inside of the element with a light and check if it is damaged or not.

100 Hourly Battery Condition Check

DANGER! Follow all safety instructions to avoid battery explosion or personal injury.

Is the fluid level between the UPPER and LOWER levels?

Is the battery cap securely in place while the engine is running?

Are open sparks and flames kept away from the battery at all times?

Are eye protection and rubber gloves worn when working around battery?

Check the battery condition by reading the indicator

Are the battery cable connections wired as shown in the figure?

Is the positive cable fixed in the cord band?

Is the terminal tightened until the stopper comes in contact?

100 Hourly Brake Pedal Adjusting

To avoid personal injury:

Stop the engine and chock the wheels before checking brake pedal.

To prevent uneven braking, the specification must be within the recommended limit.

If found out of the specifications, contact your local KUBOTA Dealer for adjusting the brakes.

Checking the brake pedal free travel

Proper brake pedal free travel - 7 to 14 mm (0.3 to 0.6 in.) on the pedal

Keep the free travel in the right and left brake pedals equal.

1. Set the parking brake.

2. Slightly depress the brake pedals and measure free travel at the top of pedal stroke.

100 Hourly Clutch Pedal Adjusting

Warning: Stop the engine and remove the key before starting the procedure

Measure free travel at the top of pedal stroke

Is the free travel within 40 to 50 mm?

If adjustment is needed, follow the next steps

Loosen the lock nut

Turn the turnbuckle to adjust the rod length within acceptable limits

Retighten the lock nut

Sign off on the clutch pedal adjustment

100 Hourly Fan Belt Tension Adjusting

CAUTION! To avoid personal injury: Be sure to stop the engine before checking belt tension.

Engine stopped and key removed

Apply moderate thumb pressure to belt between pulleys. Enter the deflection in mm.

Is the deflection between 10 to 12 mm?

If tension is incorrect, follow the next steps

Loosen the alternator mounting bolts

Using a lever placed between the alternator and the engine block, pull the alternator out until the deflection of the belt falls within acceptable limits

Replace fan belt if it is damaged

Sign off on the fan belt tension adjustment
