Hydraulic Pressure Adjustment
Warning: Only trained personnel should perform this procedure.
Turning adjustment screw clockwise increases system pressure, turning screw counterclockwise decreases system pressure.
Perform pressure adjustment with oil at normal operating temperature.
Enter the current system pressure
Select the direction of adjustment
Enter the adjusted system pressure
Did the platform raise with maximum rated capacity?
Sign off on the hydraulic pressure adjustment
Battery Replacement
Warning: Only use JLG approved batteries for replacement. Non-approved batteries may result in performance issues or battery charger fault codes.
Warning: DO NOT REPLACE ITEMS CRITICAL TO STABILITY, SUCH AS BATTERIES, WITH ITEMS OF DIFFERENT WEIGHT OR SPECIFICATION. DO NOT MODIFY UNIT IN ANY WAY TO AFFECT STABILITY.
Is the replacement battery JLG approved?
Is the replacement battery of equivalent voltage and amperage output as the OEM battery?
Is the replacement battery weight equivalent to OEM per battery?

Mast Chain and Cable Adjustment
Warning: NEVER WORK UNDER AN ELEVATED PLATFORM UNTIL PLATFORM HAS BEEN SAFELY RESTRAINED FROM ANY MOVEMENT BY BLOCKING OR OVERHEAD SLING.
With mast retracted, is the platform at the bottom of travel?
Are all chain/cable sets seated in their sheaves properly at the top of each mast section?
Enter the amount of adjustment necessary to obtain the 7/16 in. (12mm) step for mast sections-3 and up.
Adjust one mast section at a time starting from the back (section-3, section-4, etc.) of the mast and work forward.
Is the platform elevated until the chain/cable anchor adjust nuts are accessible at the front and bottom of each mast section?
Is the bottom (jam) nut on each chain/cable loosened?
Is the adjusting nut against the anchor plate on each chain/cable adjusted?
Are the (threaded ends) studs protruding on the adjustments equal side to side on a mast section?

Battery Test
NOTE: Batteries in storage should be kept at 12.5V or higher.
Before testing for battery condition, the open circuit voltage should be taken from each battery. If the voltage of the batteries differs by 0.3 volts or more, the lower voltage battery should be replaced.
Battery Testing Can Be Performed In Two Ways:
1. The batteries can be tested using a battery tester capable of testing 12V 100Ah AGM VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) batteries, using the instructions of the battery tester manufacturer.
2. If an appropriate battery tester is unavailable, the batteries can be tested by fully charging them withthe charger that is installed on the machine. Then check the battery voltage of each battery - 4 hours - after charging is complete. Batteries less than 12.72 volts should be replaced.
NOTE: If a faulty charger is suspected, the batteries can be charged using a charger that supplies 2.45 volts/cell.
Charging should be terminated when the charge current drops below 1 amp.;
