Discard the waste oil in accordance with current regulations.
Alternative Oil Removal
Use the oil filler hole to suck oil from the reservoir using an 'Oil Retrieval System'.
Filter Replacement
Initial 5 Hours System Hose Inspection
Visually inspect the system hoses after the first 5 hours of operation and then every 1000 hours.
Look for the following:
Wear and chafing caused by excessive vibration.
Leaks in hoses or connections.
Loose hydraulic connections.
Recondition or repair as necessary.;
1000 Hourly JHPU Reservoir Filler/Breather Cleaning
Filler/Breather Removal and Cleaning

1 Monthly Feedback Sensor Inspection
Visual Inspection of Feedback Sensors
Inspect all feedback sensors for the following issues
Is there any loose or damaged connection found?
Sensor Replacement
Is a sensor fault suspected?
Replace the sensor if a fault is suspected
V-Belt Tension Check
Correct Belt tension is achieved when a load of 2.8 kg applied to each Belt at mid span causes a deflection of 3 mm.
Re-tensioning is required when a load of 1.9 kg or less causes the same 3 mm deflection.
To check belt tension use a tension gauge, or as a guide:
Grip one of the Belts at mid point and attempt to twist 90º.
If the Belt rotates beyond 90º, re-tensioning is required.
If the Belt does not rotate to 90º, then the tension is too tight. Re-adjust the Belt tension.
Over tightened V-Belts will cause reduced JHPU Bearing life.;
