Place a suitably sized container below the JHPU Tank Drain Plug.

Remove the drain plug and allow the oil to flow into the container.

Refit the drain plug and tighten.

Fill the JHPU to the Max mark on the dipstick with the correct grade of oil.

Discard the waste oil in accordance with current regulations.

Use the oil filler hole to suck oil from the reservoir using an 'Oil Retrieval System'.

Inspect the Jogstick rubber boot for any signs of damage

Is the Jogstick rubber boot free from damage?

Replacement of Damaged Rubber Boot

Replace the Jogstick rubber boot if damaged

Importance for Deck Mounted Equipment

Ensure the Control Panel remains waterproof

Ensure the gauge span and mid-position are set using the previous parameters.

Adjust the connecting rod length [X] to change the amount of movement either port or starboard.

Verify if the needle movement is even on both sides.

Redo the dead ahead adjustment.

Check if any adjustments have secondary effects on others.

Visual Inspection of Feedback Sensors

Inspect all feedback sensors for the following issues

Is there any loose or damaged connection?

Replace the sensor if a fault is suspected

Inspect the rubber boot for any signs of damage

Is the rubber boot free from damage?

Replacement of Damaged Rubber Boot

Replace the rubber boot if any damage is found

Is the joystick waterproof after inspection or replacement?
