1 Yearly Bearing Lubrication
WARNING: Disconnect and lockout electrical power before attempting any maintenance.
Verify electrical power is disconnected and locked out.
Recommended Motor Bearing Lubrication Intervals
Light Duty in Clean Atmosphere
8 – 16 hours/day – Clean, Dry Atmosphere
12 – 24 hours/day – Moisture Present
12 – 24 hours/day – Dirty, High Moisture
If lubricants are operated at elevated temperatures, increase lubrication frequency.
Ensure not to intermix grease bases (lithium, sodium, etc.).
Motor Replacement
WARNING: Hazardous Voltage
Disconnect and lockout electrical power before attempting any maintenance
Motor Removal
Follow steps 1 through 4 in the 'MECHANICAL SEAL REPLACEMENT' section
For motor frames 213TC and larger, remove the motor hex cap screws and motor adapter
Motor Installation
Install the motor adapter flange onto the new motor
Torque the 4 hex cap screws to the specified values in the 'ENGINEERING DATA' section
Reassembly

Disconnect and lockout electrical power before attempting any maintenance
Preparation
Close all necessary suction and discharge valves to isolate the pump from the system
Drain the liquid from the pump by removing the drain plug and opening the needle valve on the vent plug
Disassembly
Remove the coupling guards, the 4 coupling hex cap screws, the coupling and coupling drive pin
Remove the 4 motor hex cap screws (inner screws) on the seal housing
Remove the seal housing plate on 33-125SV models using the two tapped holes provided
