Wait for at least fifteen minutes after the heating cycle has started

Clock the gas meter to determine the time for one complete revolution of the cubic foot dial
Enter the time recorded for one complete revolution (in seconds)
Calculate BTU Input
Enter the number of cubic feet of gas consumed per hour
Enter the calorific value of the gas (BTU per cubic foot)

Connect a manometer to the outlet tap at the gas valve before adjusting the pressure regulator.

Measure the current manifold pressure.
Is the manifold pressure within 3 inches water column of 3.5 inches for natural gas or 10 inches for propane gas?

Propane Gas Specific Instructions

Pre-Inspection Setup
Ensure the air cleaner is installed in the correct position (not with the access door facing down).
Verify the air cleaner is located in the return air duct next to the blower compartment.
Electronic Air Cleaner Inspection
Inspect the accessibility of the electronic air cleaner for periodic inspection and cleaning.
Check the pre-filters and electronic cells for cleanliness.
Media Air Cleaner Inspection
Inspect the accessibility of the media air cleaner for periodic inspection and replacement of the filter cartridge.
