Is the refrigerator operating under dusty or greasy conditions, or is there significant pet traffic in your home?

Use an extended vacuum attachment to remove dust build-up from the condenser coils

Use a condenser cleaning brush to remove dust build-up from the condenser coils

Ensure the following tools are available

Vacuum dust from the front of the toe grille

Remove the toe grille (see illustration on page 4)

Vacuum the backside of the toe grille

Wipe with a sudsy cloth or sponge

Unplug the electrical power cord from the wall outlet

Mix 2 tablespoons of baking soda in 1 quart of warm water

Alternatively, use soap and water

Wring excess water out of sponge or cloth before cleaning around controls, light bulb, or any electrical part

Clean interior and door liner with prepared solution

Inspect the door gaskets for the following conditions

Clean dirty gaskets with soap and water and a clean soft cloth

Replace worn, cracked, or poorly fitted gaskets

Ensure the following initial conditions are met

Place the ice container under the ice maker and push it as far back as possible

Lower the wire signal arm to its 'down' or ON position

Are the first ice cubes free of discoloration and odd flavor?

Discard the first batch of ice cubes if they are discolored or have an odd flavor
